While this role is remote, you will still need to reside within 50 miles of our center. Don’t worry if working on site is your preference, we have a seat reserved for you!


Job Summary

As an Inbound Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out to learn more about our wireless plans and services. You’ll use a consultative approach to understand their needs through discovery questions, provide tailored solutions, and close the sale — all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Customer Connection - You will be the introduction to the Consumer Cellular experience. Your energy, curiosity, and the ability to ask the right questions will help uncover customers' needs. By listening to the reason for their call, you’ll position Consumer Cellular as the reliable, value-based solution they’ve been looking for.
  • Building Value - At Consumer Cellular, we say, “People come for the price, but stay for the experience.” Your role is what brings this to life. By asking discovery questions, you will be able to provide the best recommendations on products and services that fit both their budget and lifestyle.
  • Overcoming Objections – You know that when you hear objections, this is an opportunity to build trust and ask more questions. You are able to overcome objections by addressing concerns and highlighting why Consumer Cellular is the smart choice.
  • Closing the Sales by Welcoming Customers to the Family – You’ll recognize the right time to close the sale and add a customer. You are able to close the sale confidently by delivering a great customer experience and positively reinforcing the customer’s decisions.
  • Integrity and Accuracy - Maintain accurate records using CXOne and other internal tools (don’t worry, we will train you on all of them). We believe in always Doing the Right Thing, which means making sure the customer’s wants and needs are not only met but that you operate with the highest level of integrity.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience (inbound, outbound, or retail)
  • Experience in closing sales and meeting metrics and quotas
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in navigating a PC and web browsers
  • Ability to think on your feet, ask the right questions, and close sales
  • A self-starter with a desire to succeed and grow within the company
