As a Content Specialist supporting D&D Beyond, you'll help transform tabletop sourcebooks into interactive digital experiences used by millions of players. You'll collaborate with designers, engineers, producers, and QA to ensure Dungeons & Dragons content is accurate, functional, and delivered on schedule. Success in this role means delivering high-quality digital implementations that faithfully represent Dungeons & Dragons sourcebooks, support product launch schedules, and provide players with a seamless experience across D&D Beyond.

What You'll Do:

  • Enter game content to directly support D&D Beyond tools
  • Validate digital implementations against sourcebooks and recommend solutions for any shortfalls.
  • Test content functionality across the character builder, compendium, encounters, maps, and other D&D Beyond tools.
  • Author and maintain structured digital content using HTML, CSS, JSON, and proprietary content authoring tools.
  • Identify and document bugs or inconsistencies for engineering and production teams.
  • Perform site content updates using our Content Management System (CMS).
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA throughout content releases.
  • Maintain internal documentation and content standards.
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent content releases while meeting deadlines.
  • Review work from peers to maintain content quality and consistency.
  • Other graphic editing and editorial work as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years in web content management, graphic design, web design or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience working with HTML, CSS, and JSON to build web content.
  • Deep familiarity with Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition (5e and/or 5.5e rules), including the ability to accurately interpret game mechanics.
  • Photoshop and graphic design experience.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and proactivity in spotting and making recommendations for process & performance improvement.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort learning new proprietary tools and workflows.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and game rules.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with tabletop RPGs beyond Dungeons & Dragons.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital content.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience performing software or content QA.
  • Familiarity with Git or version control workflows.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
  • Experience working in digital publishing or game development.
  • Experience editing or preparing technical documentation

Additional Details:

Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Eastridge as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.

  • Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend to 12 months

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $35/hour
  • Pay Range End: $40/hour
