Director, Human Resources Business Partner – Supply Chain (Regional)

About Your Role:

As a Director, HR Business Partner supporting Supply Chain at Dollar Tree, you will serve as the primary HR leader for an assigned region of distribution centers. You will partner closely with regional operations leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring strong execution across talent, engagement, and workforce performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance strategic partnership with day-to-day HR execution, supporting a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Regional Partnership & Business Support

  • Serve as the lead HR partner for regional Supply Chain leadership across multiple distribution centers
  • Translate business needs into actionable HR solutions that drive performance, productivity, and retention
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, staffing, and organizational needs across the region
Talent & Workforce Management
  • Lead talent planning, succession, and development efforts for regional leadership teams
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies for both hourly and leadership roles
  • Coach leaders on performance management, development, and team effectiveness
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Lead and support employee relations matters, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies
  • Partner with Corporate Employee Relations and field leadership on investigations and issue resolution
  • Drive engagement initiatives and retention strategies across the region
Operational Execution & HR Delivery
  • Ensure consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and processes across all assigned locations
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, TA, L&D) to deliver effective HR solutions
  • Use data and insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Leadership & Team Support
  • Lead and develop a team of HR Managers and/or HR Business Partners supporting distribution centers
  • Build HR capability within the region to support a complex, high-volume workforce
  • Serve as a key escalation point for HR-related matters within the region
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including support of operations (supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or retail)
  • Experience supporting multi-site, high-volume environments with a strong employee relations component
  • Proven ability to influence and coach operational leaders at the Director level and below
  • Experience leading and managing remote teams in a field-based environment
  • Strong working knowledge of federal employment laws including CA and WA state laws
  • Ability to travel 50% 
  • Reside in mid-west or west coast to travel to responsible distribution centers

Start Rate = $158,000-$189,500 based on experience plus 25% bonus and equity.
