Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value. </p> <p><strong><em>This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret.</em></strong> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Leverage knowledge of programming languages to design and develop software </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Integrate software components and third-party programs </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Verify and deploy programs and systems </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systems </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work directly with US Army mission partners to develop solutions for the Warfighter </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Gather and evaluate user feedback </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Gather and assist in the preparation of epics and features based on user needs </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Recommend and execute improvements </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Create technical documentation for reference and reporting </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>: </p> <ul> <li>Active SECRET clearance </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Previous government technology experience </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience DEPLOYING software with Agile development methodologies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to show proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience using GitLab as a version control system </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Additional Preferred Qualifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Masters Degree  </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience working in a consultant/client environment </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with federal IT standards and policies such as FISMA, NIST, and the RMF process </li> </ul>
