Role Specific Information Job Description This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. About the Role As Manager, Marketing Content Strategy, you will play a critical role in shaping Kohl’s seasonal and monthly content strategies, ensuring product priorities, customer needs and channel realities come together in compelling, customer-led stories. You will sit at the intersection of customer insight, merchant strategy, creative development and integrated marketing execution, serving as both a strategic thought partner and hands-on leader across the full content lifecycle. What You’ll Do Lead quarterly hindsight analyses focused on customer behavior, content and marketing performance, and competitive and industry trends, translating insights into actionable direction Maintain ongoing awareness of industry, competitive and Kohl’s performance; support ad hoc insight requests Partner with merchants to understand product strategies and business priorities, identifying where content can support and amplify these initiatives Synthesize cross-category priorities to uncover shared themes and opportunities for stronger storytelling and greater customer impact Lead the development of seasonal content strategies that establish core objectives and guide monthly content storytelling, including strategic rationale, customer need, creative direction, messaging and product approach Map stories across the timeframes, establishing timing, prioritization and alignment with promotional and channel plans Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategies are executable and deliver a cohesive customer experience Oversee the Integrated Marketing Calendar, content and product statement details in Sitecore throughout the marketing lifecycle Develop clear, strategic creative briefs for internal creative partners to ensure monthly content stories are concepted as intended Provide oversight throughout concept development to ensure alignment to strategy Brief photography partners on imagery needs and ensure alignment to content strategy Build trusted relationships across marketing strategy, key merchant partners, and cross-functional teams, including creative and channel partners, marketing analytics and customer insights Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, setting clear goals, priorities and expectations Allocate work effectively across the team to ensure quality, timeliness and balanced workloads Additional tasks may be assigned What Skills You Have Required Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, marketing, or a related field Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations Preferred Experience managing content strategy and/or content calendars within an integrated marketing environment Essential Functions The requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
