Meet the team: Dexcom is a leader in diabetes management technology and is proactively developing solutions to address new and expanding areas of opportunity for diabetes treatment, and improved health. The US is the largest market with significant growth opportunities, and the trade team will be instrumental in achieving our goals. This leader will shape the trajectory of Dexcom’s success in the growing CGM category, and will be poised for future growth opportunities within an evolving and dynamic company. Where you come in: * The New Business Development Manager, Partnerships will be tasked with leading the strategy and engagement with new Trade Channels including retail and eCommerce. This candidate will be a key contributor in helping to expand access and utilization of Dexcom’s non-insulin, OTC CGMs’. * Own the growth plan for the Stelo commercial wholesale channel, leading the plan to deliver revenue and volume targets. Owning the commercial distribution plan by partnering with Marketing, Sales development leads and operational teams to penetrate the emerging wellness and concierge medicine market. * You will help lead the strategy to identify, assess and engage with potential partners to bring our new OTC CGM to market in unique and creative ways, brining new ideas forward for distribution and access expansion. * You will take ownership of the partnership contracting process from ideation to launch and then nurture these partnerships for continued growth via growing our throughput of CGM sensors. This includes everything from co-branded device marketing to optimizing the methods of product distribution. * You’re able to think strategically about partnership opportunities and measure the overall impacts to building brand equity, awareness, and commercial outcomes. * You can analyze a prospective partners business model and build the strategy around where a CGM (and the data from using a CGM) fit into the broader service proposition from a prospective partner. What makes you successful: * You have experience in building and executing strategic partnerships in either the medical, technical and consumer goods categories. * Experience managing commercial trade and strategic sales relationships with national retailers and eRetailers such as Walmart and Amazon. * Comfortable managing complex pricing and contracting agreements and negotiations. * You have experience in identifying new business opportunities and building compelling sell-stories to drive a meaningful engagement. * You have managed external relationships and partnerships from prospecting through renewals. * You understand how to engage and work with cross-functional teams to generate results internally and the curiosity and business acumen to understand the potential partnership opportunities. Travel Required: * 25 to 50% Experience and Education: * Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. * At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 4 years of related experience.
