Position title - Senior Executive - Rail Operations - Rail & Inland Terminals
Job Location - DP World, 5th floor, Morphogenesis Architects, Plot No. 41, Okhla Industrial Estate Phase-III, New Delhi 110020

Job Responsibilities - 

1. Cost Optimization

  • Ensure zero additional charges such as Stabling, POL, Demurrage, Shunting, Ground Rent, Handling, Wharfage, etc. across operations. 
  • Drive timely recovery / issuance of credit notes for additional charges from customers/vendors within 15 days (end-to-end service). 
  • Maintain zero shortages, damages, or penalty costs across the supply chain. 
  • Ensure zero SLA penalties from customers through proactive operational management. 
  • Facilitate timely refund claims from Railways for additional charges within 60 days
  • Maintain and regularly update a Shortage/Damage Tracker, including penalties, deductions, and other cost leakages. 

2. TAT & Transit Management

  • Ensure Turnaround Time (TAT) performance meets or exceeds budgeted targets for assigned locations. 
  • Monitor and ensure Transit Time performance aligns with planned benchmarks.  
  • Identify delays and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency. 

3. Roambee Device Management

  • Ensure 100% rake coverage with Roambee tracking devices. 
  • Coordinate replacement of damaged/non-functional devices within 15 days, including immediate system mapping. 
  • Provide daily visibility through tracking systems to all stakeholders for real-time monitoring. 

4. Vendor Bill Management

  • Streamline vendor billing processes to ensure all monthly bills are cleared by the 10th of each month
  • Track and validate vendor bills against services rendered using a structured tracking system.
