Position Overview (In Person Only)

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer with strong SolidWorks experience and a practical manufacturing background to support product development and production operations from concept through manufacturing release.

This position will work closely with operations, production, and leadership teams to develop new products, improve existing designs, and establish manufacturing standards and processes within a fast-paced HDD manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and develop products from initial concept through final production release
  • Create and maintain detailed SolidWorks models and manufacturing drawings
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Routings
  • Costing structures
  • Manufacturing standards
  • Support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work directly with production teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency
  • Assist with prototype development, testing, and product refinement
  • Support implementation of engineering changes and product updates
  • Coordinate with purchasing and operations regarding materials and production requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
  • Manufacturing engineering or product design background
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or assembly processes preferred
  • Ability to manage projects from concept through production
  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows, costing, and production standards
  • Practical problem-solving mindset with hands-on manufacturing awareness
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
