This is a unique position that allows individuals to receive health benefits as an employee while also maintaining 1099 tax status as a direct seller under Section 3508 of the Internal Revenue Code.<br><br>This opportunity is designed for proven closers who excel in in-home sales presentations, consultative home improvement sales, and are highly motivated by performance-based earnings. Successful individuals are self-directed, professional, and confident in managing their own sales pipeline while delivering a high-quality customer experience.<br><br>The Outside Sales Consultant travels to pre-scheduled or self-generated in-home appointments with homeowners to present products, deliver custom quotes, and support same-day buying decisions.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Travel to pre-set and self-generated residential sales appointments </li><li>Conduct in-home consultations and product demonstrations </li><li>Present and sell Windows USA products using approved pricing, tools, and materials </li><li>Perform accurate measurements and complete all required sales documentation </li><li>Utilize iPads and CRM tools to manage customer information and proposals </li><li>Maintain professional, ethical, and customer-focused sales practices </li><li>Communicate effectively with internal teams to support a seamless customer experience </li><li>Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions </li><li>Maintain availability for 15 or more weekly appointments, including evenings and weekends </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Prior outside, commission-based sales experience, home improvement preferred </li><li>Strong closing skills in a consultative, in-home environment </li><li>Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset </li><li>Ability to work evenings and weekends </li><li>Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable </li><li>Comfortable using technology, including iPads and CRM platforms <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, home improvement preferred </li><li>Ability to maintain a field-based schedule of 15 or more weekly appointments </li><li>Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance </li><li>Willingness to travel within assigned market, typically within a 90-mile radius </li><li>Criminal background check required </li><li>Strong math skills and attention to detail for measurements and quoting </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed <br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation And Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Commission-only compensation structure </li><li>Uncapped earning potential </li><li>Top performers historically earn $150,000 to $300,000 or more annually based on performance </li><li>Weekly commission payouts </li><li>Performance incentives, recognition programs, and travel rewards </li><li>Eligibility for select company-sponsored benefit programs, including health-related offerings, subject to plan terms <br><br></li></ul><strong>Training and Readiness<br><br></strong>All Outside Sales Representatives OSE must complete Sales Certification before independently representing the Company in the field. Measurement Certification may follow; until completed, measurements must be conducted by a certified representative.<br><br><strong>Working Conditions<br><br></strong>This role requires frequent travel to residential customer locations, including evenings and weekends.
