The key partners you will with include:<br><br><ul><li>NBA product management</li><li>Global design</li><li>Global apparel materials, technical development and product creation centers</li><li>Global and geography merchandising</li><li>Consumer insights</li><li>Margin, finance, sourcing, costing and planning</li><li>External NBA league partners and teams<br><br></li></ul><strong>Who We Are Looking For<br><br></strong>We’re seeking a Senior Product Line Manager candidate who has considerable experience managing complex product and a strong desire to serve consumers. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to lead the creation of NBA uniforms and partner across the NBA product management team to create compelling concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for product, serving consumers, and an ability to craft and drive strategies. Possessing an ability to lead and drive challenging conversations with external partners will be critical for success. A passion for apparel, leading teams and the ability navigate, stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment are foundational requirements of this role.<br><br><strong>What You Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training</li><li>Minimum five years of experience in product, merchandising, or similar consumer-oriented role</li><li>Creativity and passion for product, consumers, lifestyle fashion/trend, sport, color and style</li><li>Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships</li><li>Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group </li><li>Attention to detail and proven record of delivery against deadlines</li><li>Necessary Skills/Tools: Excel, SmartSheets, Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro); MMX understanding is a bonus</li><li>Domestic and international travel (limited Int’l) required (±10%)<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Work On<br><br></strong>For Global Men’s NBA apparel, everything begins and ends with the consumer or the next generation of basketball athletes. This Senior PLM role will need to deeply understand our consumer, have a passion for product creation and stay on top of performance and lifestyle trends and marketplace needs. As a member of the NBA uniform product management team, you will be responsible for gathering insights, building and briefing product strategies, working with the NBA league office and teams to understand their needs, managing the product creation product, and pitching product to internal partners and external partners as well as athletes. You will manage uniform product creation that serve athletes on the court and consumers off the court.<br><br><strong>IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL<br><br></strong><ul><li>Help drive NBA product strategy as we work towards building industry leading uniforms that inspire the next generation of basketball athletes</li><li>Be responsible for hitting revenue and growth targets to help Nike achieve its business needs</li><li>Own and deliver key product management gates/date from briefing product upstream to design partners to pitching product downstream to external partners and accounts</li><li>Lead a triad of cross functional partners throughout the product creation process evey season, problem solving with an emphasis on ultimately creating the highest quality and most consumer relevant product</li></ul>
