Job Title: Senior Systems Test Engineer

Description:

The Senior Systems Test Engineer designs, develops, evaluates, and conducts integration, testing, and verification activities of (elements of) products with focus on mechanical, electrical and (embedded) software aspects and concludes this with formal reporting. Defines, implements, and maintains reliable and reproducible testing methodologies and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality requirements. Executes a comprehensive suite of system tests, including functional, integration, and regression testing, following established test plans and procedures.

 

Your role:

Will lead to coordinate all Verification & Validation activities necessary to support the release of new and updated medical devices.

Translates system requirements into well-defined, measurable test cases that comprehensively cover functionalities, interactions, and edge cases to ensure robust system verification.

Utilize standard development procedures and project management skills to assess and test the requirements of electromechanical medical devices at the part, sub-system, and system level, investigate test issues, and assist Verification & Validation technicians.

Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by adjusting test strategies based on system complexity and evolving requirements by creating new test cases, modifying existing ones, or prioritizing tests to ensure focus on critical functionalities

Ensure customer needs are met, to include coordination of Validation activities, to ensure higher confidence, reliability, and satisfaction in products released to market.

Maintain a level of technical competence through training, literature, technical contacts, and industry competition.

 

Minimum required Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering OR Vocational Education in Information Technology or equivalent.

 

Minimum required Experience: Minimal prior experience required with Bachelor''s Degree OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent.

 

Your skills include a solid understanding of engineering disciplines, developing Verification & Validation test plans, test procedures, requirements trace matrices, and test reports, validating test methods (TMV) and a working knowledge of global medical device regulations, requirements, and standards.

You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You have the ability to adapt conventional techniques to solve complex problems, demonstrated use of skills to overcome technical challenges, can plan and manage assignments of significant technical scope.

You are also able to communicate at all levels of the organization, work on a variety of simple and complex problems, support many projects, and work independently to meet project goals.
