Job Description

A highly-respected Design Build General Contractor in the area, with a backlog of projects, is seeking an Architect to join their growing team. This commercial construction company is looking for an Architect with excellent people skills and proven work history with commercial construction projects. Being a team player as well as being able to work autonomously is a must!

The Architect will play a large part in client meetings, discussing their vision and bringing that to live. While providing the client with their dream project the Architect will also be responsible for modifying their design through the building process to maximize the structural integrity and cost savings.

This company prides is self on giving each and every one of their clients the best experience possible from planning to completion. The Architect position is one that will help in many areas of the company. This is a very important person that will work closely alongside leadership and management teams.

Architect Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
  • Produce Construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Engage with clients during the design phase
  • Work closely with the design team and leadership to provide all necessary documents and information through the conceptual, schematic, and detailed design phases
  • Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
Architect Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Architecture
  • Ohio AIA Licence
  • Experience in Code and Compliance
  • Ability to use AutoCAD with proficiency
  • Can work autonomously or with a team to complete work in a timely manner
