Senior Property Accountant LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing real estate organization to identify a Senior Property Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership of property-level financials, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants meaningful exposure across accounting, operations, and development teams. Primary responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant role include: • Manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio, including monthly close, journal entries, and financial reporting • Review AR/AP activity, perform bank reconciliations, and monitor cash activity • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages for internal stakeholders, lenders, and partners • Coordinate annual budget preparation and assist with forecasting and estimates • Support CAM-related calculations and recoveries for retail properties • Assist with tax return coordination, distribution of partner reporting, and ad hoc analysis • Partner cross-functionally with operations, leasing, and development teams on property-level needs • Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and reporting enhancements as assigned by leadership Primary qualifications include: • 3+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience, ideally with exposure to retail assets • Understanding of CAM activity, reconciliations, and property-level reporting • Experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple properties • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Yardi or other real estate systems preferred • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus but not required • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment If you're looking for a role where you will be a part of a growing and family oriented team, please apply above or contact april.shaw@lhh.com.
