We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of painting projects, from residential settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and smooth renovation processes. Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed
  • Assist with the application of paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers
  • Support the team in performing renovation tasks including drywall installation, trim carpentry, stucco work, and fixture installation
  • Use construction estimating skills to help assess project materials and time requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
  • Assist with specialized tasks such as painting, masonry work, or restoration projects as directed
Experience
  • Prior experience working on construction sites or in renovation projects is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic math skills is advantageous
  • Experience with residential painting techniques including airless spray painting is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), plastering, caulking, stucco application, or masonry will set you apart
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites while supporting team efforts in maintenance and remodeling projects
