Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, you will transition our legal operations from an outsourced model to a high-performing internal function. Your mission is to build the legal systems and discipline necessary to scale us for the future journey ahead.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You are a hands-on leader who thrives in the "controlled chaos" of a Series B startup. You aren’t just reviewing contracts; you are institutionalizing the legal discipline required for our next stage of growth by managing the complexities of our US and India-based operations. Since you will be the primary legal partner for a US-headquartered revenue team, this role requires working full US business hours to ensure high-velocity execution for our customers and stakeholders.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ol style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Build and Lead the Internal Legal Engine</strong></p><ol style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Insourcing & Strategy: </strong>Lead the full migration of all legal data, contract repositories, and ongoing matters from external vendors to our internal systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Automation First: </strong>Build and implement "automation-first" tools and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems to drive scale and reduce manual review times.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Outside Counsel Management: </strong>Manage local and international legal vendors, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure specialized advice is cost-effective and aligned with company goals.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Cross Functional Partner: </strong>Partner with various stakeholders as legal matters arise with commercial, compliance or employment teams.</p></li></ol></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>US Commercial Law & Revenue Enablement</strong></p><ol style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>High-Velocity Contracting: </strong>Own the drafting and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, and Data Use Agreements, specifically tailored to US HealthTech and SaaS standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Sales Partnership: </strong>Partner with the Growth team to navigate complex enterprise procurement processes, ensuring legal is a "bridge" to revenue rather than a bottleneck.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Regulatory Alignment: </strong>Ensure all commercial agreements align with our mission to be the "source of truth" for provider data while protecting our intellectual property and API-first infrastructure.
