WordPress Wellness Site Refinement (Gutenberg & WooCommerce)

Other Jobs To Apply

PROJECT OVERVIEW I am seeking an experienced WordPress specialist for refinement and launch preparation of an existing wellness/lifestyle website hosted on GoDaddy Managed WordPress. This is NOT a rushed redesign or uncontrolled rebuild project. The existing site structure, WooCommerce setup, pages, content, and overall direction are already established. The goal is thoughtful refinement, visual cohesion, launch readiness, maintainability, and controlled improvement within the existing WordPress environment. All work must be completed inside my current WordPress installation. I am not looking for external systems, new platforms, or a full rebuild unless there is a clear, evidence-based reason. I am open to modern WordPress workflows beyond Elementor, including: Gutenberg / Block Editor Block Themes / Full Site Editing (FSE) GenerateBlocks Kadence WooCommerce-native layouts Light custom CSS where appropriate The priority is calm, elegant, wellness-style presentation, visual cohesion, and launch readiness—not flashy redesign. REFINEMENT GOALS Typography consistency and readability Spacing rhythm and visual flow Calm, minimal, wellness-oriented styling Mobile responsiveness refinement WooCommerce and Juice Book presentation polish Removal of unnecessary imagery and clutter Header/footer refinement and consistency Preserve existing WooCommerce and PayPal functionality Maintainability and owner control Content consistency and overall visual cohesion IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES No rebuild unless clearly justified No new theme forced on me No unnecessary plugins Preserve existing working systems Maintain owner control and long-term stability SCOPE & BUDGET REVIEW Please review the project description carefully before submitting a proposal. The website requires refinement across typography, spacing, mobile responsiveness, WooCommerce presentation, content consistency, and overall visual cohesion. Any questions, concerns, assumptions, pricing concerns, scope concerns, workload concerns, or timeline concerns should be raised before project award, milestone funding, contract execution, onboarding, or website access. REQUIRED TECHNICAL TRANSPARENCY To ensure a good fit and avoid wasting your time or mine, please provide clear, specific answers to the questions below. General "Yes, I can do that" answers are not helpful. 1. Describe your experience with modern WordPress systems beyond Elementor. Explain the tools, workflows, and methods you actually use. 2. Describe your real experience with Gutenberg / Block Editor / Full Site Editing (FSE). Share how you've used these in past projects. 3. Describe your experience with any of the following (if applicable): Kadence GenerateBlocks Block Themes ACF WooCommerce-native customization Lightweight, scalable WordPress systems Explain how you used them—not just "yes, I know them." 4. Describe your approach to performance optimization and reducing plugin dependency. I value maintainable, uncluttered systems. 5. Describe your philosophy regarding refinement vs. rebuild. This project is refinement-focused. OPTIONAL ADVANCED SCREENING QUESTIONS (Answering these helps you stand out.) What modern WordPress systems do you work with besides Elementor?
